3D-printed padding

Adaptive 3D-printed padding has expanded the Aeris family, creating the perfect combination for those who want exceptional, long-lasting comfort on a triathlon saddle. This saddle is designed with a wider nose to provide more support and stability in the forward leaning, aerodynamic racing position.

Customized cushioning

The advancement of digital 3D printing makes it possible to develop a saddle without the restrictions or limitations of traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is manufactured by Carbon using their revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital ultraviolet light, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with superior mechanical properties, resolution and surface quality.

Lab tested & road proven

With carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, with each zone tuned separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key zones is designed for a different cushioning and mechanical response, progressively and seamlessly merging into the same padding. The result? A reduction in peak pressure through improved weight distribution for increased comfort across the entire saddle surface.

The customization advantage

The long-distance version of the Aeris Adaptive is designed with a wider nose and a long, deep channel that allows for unprecedented pressure relief while maintaining the firm support and balance needed for long hours in aero positions. At the nose, the strut loop provides added strength to prevent asymmetric fatigue while also serving as a hook to hold the bike in transition areas of the race. One of the many benefits of Adaptive technology is that it allows a channel to be integrated instead of a cutout, with a soft central functional zone that improves weight distribution for better pressure relief and increased comfort during longer rides in aero positions. At the same time, the surface of the padding provides a non-slip grip that avoids unnecessary movements that could affect performance.

Multiple functions for different disciplines

The Aeris comes with an optional connection to integrate a water bottle holder on the back of the saddle. The link is designed to hold bottles at an angle that is out of the way during the critical climbing and descending phases in the transition zones. In compliance with UCI regulations, the Aeris is equipped with a revolutionary rail mount that not only provides a more aerodynamic feel, but also allows for a wide range of adjustment necessary to achieve the ideal riding position to beat the wind. The Aeris R3 Adaptive offers both strength and weight savings through the combination of a ride-ready, carbon-reinforced nylon shell and a hollow Kium brace.

We focus on keeping our product prices as low as possible rather than building shipping costs into the price and then offering "free" shipping on everything. These fees are not about making money but simply recouping the shipping costs particularly for larger items.

NZ Islands Courier Charges:

If you order with us and live on a NZ Island like Waiheke and Great Barrier etc our customer care team will contact you immediately to discuss freight charges/options.

We focus on keeping our product prices as low as possible rather than building shipping costs into the price and then offering "free" shipping on everything. We therefore pay the courier fees ourselves however the fees to the Island communities have become so exorbitant we can't cover all of those costs and will discuss options.

Bulky Items:

Additional charges may also apply to bulky order that measure outside the normal courier package parameters. Our friendly customer care team will contact you right away if this is the case.

Processing Times:

All orders are processed during weekday business hours (9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday.) Orders made on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.

While we try to have most products in our store and warehouse at all times if the product is not in stock we will order from our New Zealand-based suppliers. We will contact you to advise you of this and inform you of any delivery delays.

Track and trace:

We work with multiple couriers for delivery, including NZ Post NZ Couriers, and Post Haste. Once your package has left our building and been scanned on board by the courier you will receive an automated email from us with your track and trace details so you can follow its progress.

Please note: queries for missing/lost items must be completed within 14 days of despatch and queries for damaged items within 7 days of delivery. If you do not lodge a query with us within these time frames, we will be unable to make a claim with our courier.
