PRESSURE RELIEF – Anatomically adapted

The design of the SM Enduro Comp Men provides both ergonomically specific support and pressure relief for the male anatomy. Additionally, the design features a special anti-friction material at the rear of the saddle. This material reduces friction and allows the rider to easily change positions in a dynamic riding position.

360° EDGE PADDING – All-around comfort

The saddle’s primary function is to guide the bike through demanding terrain. For maximum comfort, the entire outer perimeter of the saddle is padded.

AIRCELL CLOSED CELL-FOAM – Optimal pressure distribution

The CNC-milled, closed-cell AirCell foam guarantees enhanced support and optimal pressure distribution. The flexible side wings of the SM Comp Titanium Men reduces pressure on the inner thighs and allows for optimal power transmission into the pedals.

FLAT REAR – Maximum freedom of movement

The flat V-shape design and sloping rear of the SM Enduro Comp Men allows for maximum freedom of movement. You can change your seating position quickly and easily at any time through demanding terrain.

Men’s Health

The Ergon development team dove into intensive research on the topic of men’s health. In cycling, the main complaints come from the saddle. For men, an improperly fit saddle can cause too much pressure on the highly sensitive perineal are which can lead to both temporary to long lasting health issues and discomforts. Through extensive development and analysis of MRI and CT scans, numerous prototypes and test rides, the SM Enduro Comp Men was created to alleviate perineal pressures while supporting the rider’s performance needs.

More freedom of movement

Compared to women, the male pelvis tends to be less flexible. This means that men sit more upright on the saddle and put more of their weight distribution on their sit bones. Therefore the transition area between the rear of the saddle and the saddle nose can be kept narrow (Y-shape). This gives the legs more space to pedal.

Male and Female pelvic differences

In contrast to the female anatomy, the male sit bones are more narrow and where the two sides of the pelvis come together in the front is much higher. This results in more pressure being distributed on the male’s sit bones vs. a broader area of sit bones and pubic bones in women. We have taken this significant difference between male and female anatomy into consideration during saddle development.<

We focus on keeping our product prices as low as possible rather than building shipping costs into the price and then offering "free" shipping on everything. These fees are not about making money but simply recouping the shipping costs particularly for larger items.

NZ Islands Courier Charges:

If you order with us and live on a NZ Island like Waiheke and Great Barrier etc our customer care team will contact you immediately to discuss freight charges/options.

We focus on keeping our product prices as low as possible rather than building shipping costs into the price and then offering "free" shipping on everything. We therefore pay the courier fees ourselves however the fees to the Island communities have become so exorbitant we can't cover all of those costs and will discuss options.

Bulky Items:

Additional charges may also apply to bulky order that measure outside the normal courier package parameters. Our friendly customer care team will contact you right away if this is the case.

Processing Times:

All orders are processed during weekday business hours (9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday.) Orders made on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.

While we try to have most products in our store and warehouse at all times if the product is not in stock we will order from our New Zealand-based suppliers. We will contact you to advise you of this and inform you of any delivery delays.

Track and trace:

We work with NZ Post for delivery. Once your package has left our building and been scanned on board by the courier you will receive an automated email from us with your track and trace details so you can follow its progress.

Please note: queries for missing/lost items must be completed within 14 days of despatch and queries for damaged items within 7 days of delivery. If you do not lodge a query with us within these time frames, we will be unable to make a claim with our courier.
